Make & Grow Workshops was born from a passion for hands-on learning and a belief that every child should have the opportunity to create something real and meaningful. After seeing how many students, especially those with additional needs, thrive when engaged in practical, creative activities, we set out to create a space where they could design, make, and grow with confidence.

Many schools face challenges in providing real-world, tactile learning experiences due to limited time, resources, or safety constraints. That’s where Make & Grow Workshops comes in. We bring the tools, materials, and guidance directly into schools, helping learners work together to design and build projects that benefit their community, from squirrel assault courses and planters to garden furniture, and anything else their imagination can dream up.

We also offer tailored EOTAS sessions (Education Other Than At School), providing flexible, interest-led learning for students who thrive outside a traditional classroom environment. These sessions adapt to each learner’s needs, abilities, and passions, giving them meaningful, practical experiences that support confidence, engagement, and personal growth.

Our aim is to give students more than just DIY skills. We want them to discover pride in their work, develop confidence through teamwork, and build a deeper connection with the natural world. By using recycled and sustainably sourced materials wherever possible, we also teach the importance of environmental responsibility,  showing that creativity and sustainability can truly grow hand in hand.
